Rajasthan Patrika, Jaipur: 23 December 2004: Camp will be built with support of the handicapped: Many organizations came forward for cooperation: For the help of the handicapped, identity cards will also be prepared by the Social Welfare Department in the disability camp being organized by Rajasthan Patrika on 25 December. For this, an officer of additional collector level will also be present in the camp. In this camp, the veins of Bhattarakji located in Narayan Singh Circle, S.R.L. Rain Battery Ltd. Coupons will be given on behalf of Jaipur to give a discount of twenty five percent to all types of medical examination for handicapped. Amit Bhargava of the company said that separate coupons are being printed for the camp. Arjun Das of Arjun Tent Decorators of Malviya Nagar told that free tent will be installed in the camp. ABC Accountancy Pvt. Limited director Sandeep Gupta informed that the facility of filling income tax returns will be provided free of cost to the disabled people in the camp. Tri-cycles, hearing aids and crutches will also be provided to the handicapped in the camp being organized in Jaipur. Director of Social Welfare Department, Niranjan Arya said that registration will be done for disabled under self-employment assistance scheme ‘Vishwas’ and ‘Aastha Yojana’ for the help and protection of disabled families. Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. B. R. Meena said that a medical board of doctors of the department is being set up for the camp. General Secretary of Central City Mini Bus Operators Union, Baljit Yadav said that free travel facility will be provided in mini buses to the disabled those are coming to the camp. Workers will be deployed on behalf of ABC Accountancy for filling the applications for the handicapped. Director of Sanjay Teachers Training College, Ravi Juniwal said that the students of the college will also provide services in the camp. Dr. Sunil Gupta, acting president of Krishnaram Medical Research Institute, said that the institute will also support the camp. President of Rajasthan Disabled Development Society, Dr. Vinod Shah and Secretary Pradeep said that their society will also cooperate in the camp.
