Rajasthan Patrika, Jaipur: Saturday, 28 January 2006: The main function of Republic Day in the town was held in the premises of the Government Senior Secondary School. Bhanwar Lal Kumawat, the chief guest and chairman of the municipality, hoisted the flag and inspected the salute of the students. Under the guidance of physical teacher Rajvir Singh Yadav, the students presented physical exercise demonstrations and cultural programs. Prizes were awarded to the students participating in the program and students participating in the study games and other subjects of the three senior schools. The ceremony was presided over by Sandeep Gupta, director of ABC accountancy’s Bagru branch. Later, sweets were distributed on behalf of the municipality to the students of all private and government schools. It is known that all the councillors have volunteered their one-month salary for sweets. Apart from this, Bhanwar Lal Kumawat, municipality at Municipality Office and Government Ayurveda Hospital, Vishwanath Poddar, General Secretary at Bagru Industrial Association hoisted the flag. ABC Director Sandeep Gupta of Accountancy Branch Office, Gopal Lal Jat, Principal of Senior Upadhyaya Sanskrit School, Mrs. Rashmi Sharma, Principal of Girl Senior, Director Neeraj Sen of Children’s Play School, Mukesh Sharma of Modern Dream, Vikram Sharma, Mahesh of Jeevan Jyoti School, Ganga Sahai Kachwal of Tirupati National School, Kailash Khajotia, Director of New India Dream School, and Sanjay Poshwal Director Bharti Vidya Niketan Secondary School hoisted the flag. Former MLA Shiv Sharma unfurled the flag at a ceremony held under the chairmanship of Sarpanch Geeta Meena at the Higher Secondary School in Kalwara.
