Just Jaipur, Rajasthan Patrika, Jaipur: Wednesday, 5 August 2009: A rakhi for brothers in Jaipur from Sarabjit’s sister: “This rakhi would be special for me,” said Sandeep Gupta, Jaipur-based Chartered Accountant and Aam-e- Hindustani Manch convener on receiving a rakhi from Sarabjit Singh’s sister Dalbir Kaur He said Kaur was to go to Pakistan on Raksha Bandhan to tie rakhi on Sarabjit’s wrist. It is said that if someone is with you at the time of trouble, then inadvertently, that person becomes very important in life. Something similar happened with Malviya Nagar resident Sandeep Gupta, whom Sarabjit’s sister Dalbir Kaur considered as his younger brother and sent a rakhi to him from Mumbai on August 14 at the Wagah border. Sarabjeet is currently lodged in a jail in Pakistan. And there is a nationwide campaign for his release. Sandeep is also involved in this campaign. On this day, there will be a candle march on the Wagah border and a demand letter will be handed out. Sandeep has promised as a gift that by joining this campaign, he will do everything possible to release Sarabjit till the next Rakhi. She will also tie rakhi to Bollywood celebrity Mahesh Bhatt, Maharashtra State Minorities Commission vice chairman Dr Abraham Mathai and MNS chief Raj Thackeray on Wednesday.
