Rajasthan Patrika, Jaipur: Thursday, 9 September 2004: The meeting of the Special General Assembly of Rajasthan Olympic Association will be held on September 11 at Hotel Jeyes. According to the release of Rajasthan Olympic Association President Janardan Singh Gehlot, the sports ordinance of the state government will be discussed in a special general meeting. All the Olympic-affiliated sports associations and district Olympic associations have been informed for the meeting. School sports: District level badminton, table tennis, tennis and softball competitions will be held at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Malviya Nagar from Friday. Under this, Under-17 and Under-19 teams from schools in the district will participate. MLA Kalicharan Saraf will inaugurate and chair Rohit Mahajan. On 12 September, Sandeep Gupta will be the chief guest of the closing ceremony. College Badminton: UTD defeated the ICG to enter the final of the women’s section of Inter College Badminton. In another semi-final, Maharani College defeated GIT. The opening round matches were played in the men’s section. Jaipur Engineering College Director Lalit Saraogi inaugurated the competition.
